 Cat rehoming guidelines Minimize

All our adult cats are neutered, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms. They will also have had (at least) their first vaccinations (flu/enteritis/leukemia).

We ask a minimum donation of £45 for each cat to help cover our costs.

A home visit may be required.

If you would like any more information about any of these cats, or feel you'd like to offer one or maybe two of them a home, please call us on 01908 611179 or email us at cathome@mkrspca.org.uk

This page is updated regularly but some of the cats shown may no longer be available for adoption.

Befriend a Feral!

We currently have a number of feral cats that urgently need safe homes. They are ideal for farms, stables or just as outdoor cats, and are good mousers. They will require access to shelter and regular feeding but are happy without without human companionship. All are neutered and microchipped and we can loan out pens so they can be confined for the first 2-3 weeks in their new surroundings.

Golden Oldies?

We are in desperate need of long term fosterers to take on the sick and elderly cats we cannot rehome. We will pay their vet bills and medication, we just need kind hearted people to take them in and give them the love they deserve in the final stages of their lives. Some are strays, others are cats taken to the vets to be put down by owners who no longer want to care for them and have subsequently been signed over to us because the vets feel they deserve another chance.

If you can help please call us on MK 611179.

Interested in fostering kittens?

We are looking for fosterers for the hundreds of unwanted kittens and pregnant cats we have to take in every year. If you have a spare room and would like to help out please call us on MK 611179. We provide all the food, litter, medication etc needed. We just ask you to look after them until they are ready to be rehomed. Please note we are unable to use fosterers who have very young children.

Sooty and Maisy

These two seven year olds were also taken into the vets to be put down! They are lovely friendly cats although they will be shy at first. They need a quiet home together.

Josh.JPGJosh

Josh is a big boy who will want to be the boss of his new home! He is friendly but has a tendency to nip when he's had enough attention. He needs an experienced owner without children and other cats.

Flora.JPGFlora

Flora really needs a new home as she has been with us for some time now. She was badly treated before being brought in by an inspector. She's only about 5 years old but is a little shy and a little temperamental at times. She needs someone willing to give her a second chance in life.

We have recently taken in a large number of cats via the inspectors. They all came in with cat flu but have recovered well and are now ready to go to new homes. A few of them are pictured below. They are all young cats and really friendly.
